    breach

    Hi!
I am learning the word" breach".
I wonder if my usage is right.
Also may I use the synonym" violate" in the sentence?
    My sentence is as follows:
The group of journalists had reached the agreement that they would not report the child's privacy. But one of the jounalists breached the code of conduct. The others felt angry.
Could you check it for me?
    Thanks a lot!

    Re: breach

Good use, and yes, you could replace it with "violate" in this context.
