    Smile a Prozac toastie

This moment bawled out for some leadership but from the citadel in London came little save befogged, pillow-smothered, strap-biting confusion.

And then, just after 11am in Birmingham, a woman with a professionally modulated voice - so calm she may have had a Prozac toastie for breakfast - came on to the public address system at the Tory Conference.
so calm she may have had a Prozac toastie for breakfast =It sounds that she ate toasted sandwich and anti-depression drug?

1: Prozac = a kind of anti-depression drug? Do most oridinary readers know it?

    2: toastie = toasted sandwich?

    Thanks!

Yes, Prozac is an antidepressant. It doesn't work this way. It can take up to three weeks to work. The writer should have used Valium (or Xanax, or Seroxat, or other benzodiazepine) which does work as quickly as that. But they are anxiolytics, not antidepressants.
Ordinary readers would have heard of Prozac and Valium, but they wouldn't know the difference.
