    Sorry, it's urgent. Can anyone please advise? Thx sooo much!

    I was given an answer that goes:

    I left school 2 years ago, when I finished my IB Exam. (since)

    And I am asked to create what the question might have been in the form of present perfect using since.

    Is the following a correct one? Please advise, thx soo much!

    Question: Since when have you left school?

    How long has it been since you left school?

    The words 'using since' make this exercise very difficult. As the previous post said, the most natural way of asking this is a question starting 'How long...' .... aha, got it - 'How long has it been since you left school?'

    If you try to start with the word 'since', you end up either with a mistake (like yours) or a ridiculous periphrasis (which I'm not sure would be acceptable; it certainly wouldn't be used, even in it is ): 'Since when have you been in the state of having left school?)
