I know the rule about its use that it is not used before name of places except before places with plural meaning. But, in this case:
I would like to be considered for your positions, especially for Dubai opportunities.
Or have I to write ...especially for the Dubai opportunities.
In this case "Dubai" is being used adjectively, so the article is in fact connected to "opportunities". However, I would suggest you say "any opportunities in Dubai" instead.
