    remarkable in the world?

    Hello Everyone,

I would like to know here if remarkable has the meaning of attracting attention of the world?

For example, Can the underlined in the following sentence be replaced by remarkable?

In the past 30 years, China has made great achievements that have caught attention of the world.

    Regards
