    The meaning of bring out

How would you replace the phrasal verb with a verb in the following sentence?

These sentences help to bring out the difference in meaning between the phrasal verbs.

I'm not sure why you'd want to . You could say "show" or "demonstrate", but the good thing about 'bring out' is that it emphasizes the student's role in learning; perhaps 'exemplify'...?

Re: The meaning of bring out

Thank you. It's not that I want to replace it but our English teacher does. We took a test on phrasal verbs today and me and my classmates were just wondering what could be the correct answer.
    Thanks again.

One that Naomi deleted, because she thought I'd got there first; but it's a good one - make clear. You could also use emphasize or highlight; they're not very close synonyms for 'bring out', but they would work in that sentence.
