    Re: Rule of Irregular verbs

    Irregular verbs are verbs in which the past tense and past participle are not formed by adding –ed to the base form. Irregular verbs can be grouped into four types:
    Type 1
    Verbs that have the same form in their base form, their simple past tense, and their past participle;
    Cast………………..….cast…………………..cast…………………casting
    Type 2
    Verbs that have the same irregular forms in the simple past tense and the past participle;
    Bind……………..bound………………..bound………………..binding
    Type 3
    Verbs that have irregular forms, ending in -t rather than –ed, in the simple past tense and the past participle but also have regular –ed forms in the simple past tense and the past participle.
    Burn………………….burnt/burned……………………..burnt/burned…………………burning
    Type 4
    Verbs in which the base form, the simple past tense, and the past participle all have different forms.
    Begin………….……began…………….begun………………beginning
