    Quotation

    Quotation:

"Today, watching television often means fighting, violence and foul language - and that's just deciding who gets to hold the remote control."

What does the part that is just deciding mean? Does the author want to say that the process of seizing the remote control in the family also inludes a lot of fighting and foul language? Or?

    Thanks.

All that fighting and violence is merely to decide who has the remote control to the television.

Excuse my reconfirming. Does it mean: "It's fighting and violence which decide who has the remote control?"

Sorry for my being slow, Anglika.
