use to In negative sentences and questions, 'use to' replaces 'used to' when it follows 'did' or 'didn't':
    Examples:-
Did he use to be the doctor in 'Star Trek'?
We didn't use to go out much in the winter months.

used to used to show that a particular thing always happened or was true in the past, especially if it no longer happens or is no longer true.

Example:-She used to live in Glasgow.
