I think you need to explain more fully what you are trying to communicate, and who your audience is. Are you the supervisor telling your weekend workers that there will no longer be any work for them? Did you normally send them a note in the middle of the week telling them what assignments they would have for the upcoming weekend?
And I don't understand the comment about taking hours at some of the other teams. Did you mean to say "teams" or "times"? Do you hope that they may take some work from other teams of workers, or at other times?
