Time is up or Time is over

hi, suppose we are in a class, what would you say at the end of the class? time is over or time is up. the latter seems to be ok. I know that Over is for game, party, etc. but it sounds to be correct too. please let me know.

    thanks

Re: Time is up or Time is over

    Welcome to the forums.

    How about either:

"That is the end of this class time"

    OR

    "Class is over for today"

    OR

    "Time's up".
