    sentence structure

    Could you please tell me what is the correct analysis of this sentence :
    I have been trying to convince you that this is the right choice.

    I => Subject

    have been trying => predicate

    to convince you that this is the right choice. =>infinitive (phrase) , function as an adverb to express the aim of the subject "I"

    "to convince" has two objects :
    O1 => you
    O2 =>that this is the right choice. (a noun clause)
