    stay focused on?

    Hello Everyone,

Can "keep steadyfastly to " take the place of the underlined?

At present, the Chinese people stay focused onthe primarytask of development, working together with full confidence to build a moderatelyprosperous society in all respects and striving to achieve modernization.

    Re: stay focused on?

It doesn't sound very natural, but it's not incorrect. I would use 'are focused on'.
