    Flummox, perplex, confuse and bewilder

    Hi! Teachers:
Could you tell me the difference between flummox , perplex, confuse, and bewilder?

Please don't use on-line dictionary to explain it . The dictionary always explain them with another new words. So I can't grasp the differences between them.
    Thanks a lot!

    They are the same.

You can add mystify, nonplus, daze, confound, stagger, and muddle to the list.

It is said that the Inuit (Eskimos) have several hundred words for "snow."

Isn't it curious that we have so many for "confused"?
