    transformation of sentences

Below are 2 questions on transformation.

    1. We never imagined that he would win the scholarship.
    (Start with: Little.....)
    1. Little did we ever imagine that he would win the scholarship.

    2. Anna has not gone for a swim for five years.
    (Start with: The last time..)
    2. The last time that Anna had gone for a swim was five years ago.

Are the sentences in bold correctly transformed as shown above?

    Many thanks.

    Re: transformation of sentences

I know that "gone" is one of the words used differently in the US and in the UK. I would say "The last time she went for a swim..."

(Actually, I'd say "The last time she went swimming...")

I'd leave out the "ever". That's not a common phrase.

This is not a simple transformation of grammar though. The meaning has changed from your "never" having imagined it to your having "little" imagined it. I think that is the expected answer though.
