    Question Father Goose=?

Hello. I am Homer Simpson. Or, as some of you wags have dubbed me, "Father Goose." You know, everybody believed the worst about me right away. Nobody cares that I didn't do it. But I didn't. Okay, look, I've done some bad things in my life. But harassing women is not one of them.
Hello! The quote words are the snippet from American cartoon - The Simpsons. People did Homer wrong by accusing him of sexually harrassing a girl. Homer went to a TV show to clean himself.

Could someone please help me out from the questions as below? Thanks!

    Q1: wags =?

Q2: Father Goose =? I know "goose" means stupid person in slang. Why is there a "Father"? If I refer to a woman, can I say "Mother Goose"?

    a wag is a joker

this use of goose is a pun; sexual harassment might involve 'goosing' someone - 'goose' can mean to touch in an unacceptable way - (the details escape me - I've never been either the doer or the sufferer).

'Mother Goose' is a nursery rhyme character - she'll be on Wikipedia.

To "goose" someone = poke (someone) in the bottom.
