    Re: Which do English-speaking people use ?

    Thanks, but I really don't understand what you mean !

    I am not a native speaker , so I can not decide which is the best choice for each gap .

    Looking forward to your explanations again .

    A. Provided b. Providing c. Which provides d. It provides =>(b or c )
    i'd select c. i think the lesson is that "which" can take the whole preceding clause as the referent. But b is not wrong.

    2.he must have lived here for 10 years,_____he?
    A. Mustnít b. Havenít c. Didnít d. Hasnít =>(b or d)
    a. Mustn't. (anglika is telling you that must in the sentence, requires mustn't in the question tag)
    b. Haven't he??

    3.only in this way, directed by the teacher, ______work out the problem the day before.
    A. Had they b. They could c. Could they d. Did they =>(c or d)
    c. Could they. This is purely from intuition. A teacher wrote this.
    d. Is not wrong.

    looking forward to your answers.

    Thank a lot .
