    Would you please help me?

If I want to say, I'm jealous of other girls for the sake of sb, what preposition can I use after jealous? Can I say jealous "for sb"?
First thank you for your replies. Maybe I haven't made myself understood. I want to say, I'm jealous of other girls because the man I care for shows an interest in them. My question is how can I express that my jealousy is for the man? Can I just use a preposition between "jealous" and "the man" to show this? Jealous for the man?

I am jealous of someone: I am jealous of Sukie because James likes her better [than me].

I am jealous about something: Once upon a time she would have been jealous about the constant reference to Charles and Camilla

I am jealous for somthing: I am jealous for his reputation which means "I am deeply concerned about his reputation and wish to ensure that it is a good one".

    And you can also say:

I hate Mary. I'm jealous of her legs.

Mary is jealous of Kathy's hair.

    You can say:

I'm jealous of the attention he shows to other girls.

I'm jealous when he shows attention to other girls.

I want to say, I'm jealous of other girls because the man I care for shows an interest in them.

Say you go out socializing with a girlfriend. She flirts with and attracts the boys; and the boys seem to forget you are there. Then you are envious of your friend's ability, her charm, in being able to gain the boys' attention: you wish you had that ability yourself.

Say you go out, you, your boyfriend, and this girlfriend...and she turns on the charm and your boyfriend starts paying all his attention to her, not you. Then you might be jealous: you want to hold on to what you do have ( your boyfriend's affection) and jealous that he is now directing his affections to this other girl.

You would envy other girls if they had boyfriends and you didn't.

You would be jealous if your boyfriend began flirting with another girl.

Thank you for your detailed explanation so that I know the difference between envious and jealous. I'm wondering is there a preposition that can be used before the very person of the boyfriend (in your second example)to show it is because of him that I feel jealous? Jealous for my boyfriend or else? By the way, can "or else" be used this way?

You're jealous of your boyfriend's attraction to other women.

Jealous for my boyfriend or else? By the way, can "or else" be used this way?

Is it "Jealous for my boyfriend, or something else?"

"Tom Cruise has forged a career in movies that is the envy of even other established Hollywood stars. As such, he has a persona in the public eye, which he guards jealously. Mr. Cruise does not consider that it is in keeping with this persona to be seen advertising Viagra, and he declines your lucrative offer."

    Perhaps:
I am jealous of my boyfriend and don't want him talking to other girls.
