It's Monday morning and I want to know what my friend did in the last 2 days.
Do I say: 1) What did you do this weekend ?
2) What did you do last weekend ?
3) What did you do in the weekend ?
or 4) What did you do at the weekend ?
Thxs in advance.
Hi mary, remember that this normally refers to future in English, not to past events, like for example in Spanish.
What are you doing this weekend? (meaning the next weekend)
Thus, 1) What did you do this weekend ? is not logical.
I think, number 2 and 4 are correct, though I would go with the preposition on, too.
You can also say during.
