    what's the best verb, please?

"We must organize the activities so that one the work of one person doesn't xxx the work of the others
    "

    Hi there,
I wonder what's the best verb to be used in this sentence and that means "to hinder", "to disturb" and so on.
    Thanks a lot.

Both hinder and disturb are appropriate. Interrupt would also work. For very formal use, you could also use "adversely affect".

"negate, demean, diminish". There's another poster who knows more about this.
