    as a conclusion?

    Hello, Teachers.

    I took a English test this afternoon. In the writing section, I used the following expression in my last paragraph to sum up: As a conclusion, I believe that ...

    Now I think 'in conclusion' is better, isn't it? But, will the examiner treat 'as a conclusion' as grammatically erroneous and reduce my score?

    I'm not a teacher but I would say that writing 'As a conclusion' appears more better than 'in conclusion'. As for that you may also use 'to conclude....'
    Its just a suggestion. You may take help from others..

    "In conclusion" is the usual phrasing.
