    how many syllables does really have?

    Hello Guest,

    A syllable is a part of a word that can be uttered independently, as a unit.

    Thus in "homework", there are two syllables, "home" and "work"; and in "independently", five.

    On that basis, how many syllables would you say there were in "really"?
