    Writing the date

Can you advise me please as to the correct way to write the date on a formal letter?
Should it be October 28th 2008 or 28 October 2008?

    Thank you
    Jan

    Re: Writing the date

28 October 2008 is the "universal" date format.

In the US, you'd type "October 28, 2008."
