    My foot hurt very much.

    My foot hurt very much.
    Can we use "very much" to modify the verb "hurt" like the above sentence?

    Hi sitifan

    I have no problem with the use of "very much" in this case, but it should read: "My foot hurts very much".

    That having been said, I would have probably said: "My foot really hurts".
