    Correct the sentences

These sentences are wrong, and I've tried to correct them.

    1. Shakespeare has written over 30 plays.
I don't find an error here?

    2. The express train is not stopping in that village.
The Ecpress train doesn't stop in that village

    3. Marie has not wanted to go swimming ever since she fall in the river.
    ?

    4. While I took a bath, all the lights went out.
While I was taking a bath, all the lights went out

    5. By the time Sarah was getting to work, the meeting had finished.
By the time Sarah got to work, the meeting had finished

Is this right, and how should I write number 3?

    Re: Correct the sentences

    3. Marie has not wanted to go swimming ever since she fall in the river.

It should be Marie has not wanted to go swimming ever since she fell in the river ?

How about this "Mary has never wanted..."?

    shakespeare wrote over 30 plays.
while it's true (in the present) that he wrote 30 plays in the past, it is unlikely he will write any more. (you don't need the present perfect)
therefore the simple past is the choice.

    2. The express train is not stopping in that village.
the express train doesn't stop in that village yes

    3. Marie has not wanted to go swimming ever since she fell in the river.
marie has not wanted to go swimming since she fall in the river. (omit 'ever') "ever since" implies "at all times since". But most of the time she wouldn't be thinking about swimming.
[of course, the answer depends on what the question is]

    4. While i took a bath, all the lights went out.
while i was taking a bath, all the lights went out yes

    5. By the time sarah was getting to work, the meeting had finished.
by the time sarah got to work, the meeting had finished yes

    r.
