    Question shopping

    Hi everybody,

    what is the difference: I like shopping/I like doing the shopping.

    If you like shopping, you like going to the shops, seeing what's there, buying things that catch your eye and so on.

    If you like doing the shopping, you like going to the shops to buy the things you need, like groceries etc.

    Shopping = the activity of going to shops to buy things.Doing shopping = to go shopping to buy foods and other things you need regularly.
