    break

    The storm was breaking.
    The rain was breaking.

    Do these sentences mean:
    1-The storm/rain was starting.
    or:
    2-The storm/rain was ending.

    Re: break

When the day or DAWN or a storm breaks, it begins.
    So, the storm was starting.
But I'm not sure of "the rain".
I think that "The rain was starting".
