    singular or plural 2

    Dear teachers,

    Would you be kind enough to tell me your opininon concerning the following sentences?

    1. Douglas and I are so wonderfully happy together.
    2. Truth and honesty is the best policy.
    3. There was a women with a child in her arms.
    4. Vaculic with 11 other parachutes blows up a German supply train…
    5. Neither handmaid nor Kemp was to be seen.
    6. This afternoon neither you nor I were thinking of getting married.
    7. There were a number of people out this afternoon.
    8. The number of colonial wars and colonial crises has multiplied…
