    How to say?

If there is a word that is useless in a sentence or phrase. Can I say:

    1/ This word is useless
    2/ This word is superfluous
    3/ This word is redundant

    What would you say?

    Thanks.

    Re: How to say?

    I'd go for redundant.

Define what you mean as "useless" - incorrect? unnecessary? meaningless?

    Re: How to say?

Still not clear. What do you regard as "useless"?
