    First? Firstly?

    There are a number of reason why this product is selected. First(ly), it is inexpensive...Second(ly), the design is good....Third(ly), it is from a reputable company...

    In the above, First or Firstly, Second or Secondly, Third or Thirdly are correct?

    They are all corect. But stick to the following rule - once you've started using the adverbs without -ly, don't use any with the ending -ly later in your composition. And vice versa.

    Thank you. First is also adverb. Why does it have two types: first and firstly?

    I have the impression that "firstly," secondly," etc. are more frequent in British English and "first," "second," etc. are more often used in the American variety.
