    Mundane

Can I say that this dress is mundane ( as it has become very ordinary and doesnt interest me anymore) ?

Re: correct use of the word

I would prefer 'plain' or 'dull'.

Mundane things like going to work are not her thing.

(Personally, I find no problem with your original sentence since it implies the dress has become boring and ordinary. You could rephrase it as "That brown dress is really mundane, but this one with the sequins is something else".)
