    Smile difference

    Hello everybody,

What is the difference between: manager/director and survey/research?

    Thank you very much!

    Re: difference

    God Bless

Survey means asking some questions from a number of people to find their opinion.
Research means studying a subject carefully and getting information about it.
You can do a research and a survey can be a part of it.

We usually use manager when we want to refer to "someone whose job is to manage part or all of a company or other organization (Longman Dictionary)".
Director is "one of the committee of top managers who control a company" or "someone who is in charge of a particular activity or organization (Longman Dictionary)".
