    What does this sentence mean?

Compensation for any range index error shall be provided and where multiple antennas are installed, shall be automatically applied for each selected antenna.
What shall be "automatically applied for each selected antenna"?
And for the fist part of sentence, is it a simple future tense or does the shall mean should here? I mean, does the author mean "compensation for any range index error "shall be provided later by himself or does the author mean "compensation for any range index error"should be provided /is expected to provided...?

Re: What does this sentence mean?

in my opinion, shall=will be, and 'compensation' shall be applied
