    voice over work

    Hi :
    I saw a business card says:voice over work.
    Could you tell me what it mean?

    It's actually 'voice-over'.

    Whenever you see some image on a TV screen, with some off-camera voice narrating the documentary or telling you how good a product that packet of soap powder is... you are hearing an actor doing a 'voice-over.' It is the voice you hear superimposed over what you are seeing.

    You will also see it written as voiceover.
