    broke into pieces

Could someone please correct these sentences?

The glass which was in my hand fell down and broke into pieces. It is scattered all over the floor. So please walk carefully. Otherwise, it may pierce into your foot.

    Regards,
    Muktha.

You have written the first sentence in the passive voice, which is not how a native speaker would describe this situation. Also, some words then become redundant:

I dropped a glass and it broke. It's scattered all over the floor, so please walk carefully. Otherwise, you may cut your feet/you may get glass in your feet.
