    Hello everyone

    I'd like to ask some things about the following sentence:

    Thus, dissemination of any information that was not received from state structures can lead to civil or criminal liability for mass media and journalists if the information turns out to be not authentic.


    Is "for" the correct preposition or "of" is a better choice?


    And is "the" necessary between "information"?

    means:
