    Formal letters

I would like to know if there are any differences when adressing to a diplomat. I would like to write a letter to the Ambassador of UK. Can you give me a few tips?

    Thanks a lot!

    Re: Formal letters

    • Mailing Address to Ambassadors:
      His/Her Excellency John/Jane Doe
    • Greeting to Ambassador: Dear Ambassador Doe

If the UK ambassador has a title [Sir John Doe/Lord Doe], then use that in the mailing address.
