    Smile preposition

    Hello everybody,

    What is better and why?
How long is he here for? or For how long is he here?

I have a gift - Who for? or For who?
I am going there - Who with? or With who?

    Thank you very much!!!!!

how long is he here for? or for how long is he here? both equally good but the first probably more common

i have a gift - who for? or for who? both correct but the second one probably more common

i am going there - who with? or with who? same as the one immediately above

    thank you very much!!!!!
