    Meaning of Scottish proverb

    Dear Teachers,
    I would like to know what is the meaning of this Scottish proverb: Nae Fleeiní Frae Fate.
    Can you help me, please?

    If I translate as:
    There's no fleeing from fate.

    Does that make it clearer?

    flee: to run away from a place or situation (of danger).

    fate • the development of events beyond a person's control, regarded as determined by a supernatural power;
    .......• the course of someone's life, or the outcome of a particular situation for someone or something, seen as beyond their control.
