    Question post

The renminbi posted a record one-day fall against the dollar yesterday as speculation mounted that the Chinese authorities might use a weaker renminbi to spur economic growth.
The speculation was triggered after the People's Bank of China set an unexpectedly high central parity in the dollar/renminbi rate.

Hi! Are "post" and "record" fixed collocation?

    Thank you!

    Re: post

Not "fixed", but a very usual one. It is actually "posted a [record one-day fall]"
