I have three questions to ask:
drop: a small round shaped amount of liquid
droplet: a small round shaped amount of liquid
According to these definitions the two words a abosolute synonyms. Is that right?
First, contend: v. to compete in order to win something.
contention: n. be in/out of contention for sth to be able/not able to
achieve or win something, especially in sport.
Second, there is the word 'contention', which means 'the disagreement that results from opposing arguments' or 'an opinion expressed in an argument'.
My question is: are there verb forms of the nouns in second group ?
'ignorant of ' and 'ignorant about' are interchangeable. Is that right?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance.
