    Is there any difference between get scared/get frightened?

    I found the following online:

    When I'm shocked by some horrible events and worried about the possible consequence, I'm terrified.
    When I have fear for something/someone (be it real or unreal), I'm scared.
    When I'm threated by someone or something, I'm frightened.

    But in many cases they are almost the same.

    This explanation sounds good to me!
