    Question Conditional Clauses Type II

I would like some help in rewriting this conditional sentence.

She went online and participated in a chat in English because she might find some e-friends and practise the language.

Rewriting: The correct one is this

If she didnít go online and participate in a chat in English, she might not find some e-
    friends and practise the language.

    or this?

If she didnít go online and participated in a chat in English, she might not find some e-
    friends and practise the language.
