    Question doubt!!!

    What does "elder" mean? Is it a comparative?...Thank you

    Possible.

    Old, older/elder, oldest/eldest.
    An elder = a senior citizen
    An elder [tree] = a small deciduous tree with white or pink flowers and black berries in large flat heads.
