    Defining Relative Clause

    The car is in the garage. It is very expensive.

    a)The car which is in the garage is very expensive.

    b)The car which is very expensive is in the garage

    Which one is correct?

    The task is to marry these two sentences,

    1. The car is in the garage.
    2. It is very expensive.

    not to change one sentence.


    Answer:

    Add the sentences together:
    1. The car is in the garage + 2. It is very expensive.

    Delete the words that are similar:
    The car (which is) in the garage is very expensive.
