    Does this sentence look OK to you?

    (When/after?) the process terminates, the tubes are removed and are left to cool.

    After the process terminates, the tubes are removed and left to cool.

    When the process has terminated, the tubes are removed and left to cool.


    The final "are" is redundant and not needed.
