    Dear Friends,

    According to a grammar book key, 'I'll do it until Friday' is grammatically incorrect in the following:

    A: Have you done your homework yet?
    B: No, but I'll do it until Friday.

    I think B is correct, though 'finish' might be better to use. Am I right?

    B: No, but I'll do it by or before Friday. You can't use 'until' in that way.
    You could say 'I won't do it until Friday'.
