    They follwoing question came in a conversation while I was talking to my colleague.

    They are being divorced for about 1 year.

    I would like to know how to make this sentence in a question format.

    Is the following question correct to ask? Plz help. Thank you.

    How long have they been divorced?

    How long have they been divorced?
    The question version is correct, but you should use the present perfect in the (also passive) statement version too.

    They have been divorced for about 1 year.


    be + being + past participle
    (eg, are being divorced) is the pattern we use when constructing passive sentences in the continuous tense.
