    Please correct this sentence.

I heard from my Indian friend that India always get extremely hot and cold of its season.

Is the above sentence sounds weird? I would like to say that, "Summer is extremely hot and so is Winter in India" but I would like to cut it a little bit short.

    Please help.

As a student I can clearly understand your sentence, at the same time, the other sentence also seems to me quite correct.

I sonder that 'of its season' sounds alright, doesn't it?

Ah... Actually winter is very cold and summer is very hot.

    Can I make it short?
