    Correct or Incorrect?

Is it correct english to say "most extreme"? I am preparing a standardized document and want to make sure i use correct english..I am of the opinion that it should just be "extreme". I would appreciate any comments on this trifle of a problem i', facing. Thank you in advance

P.S.- it would be great if an online source stating the correct words could be recommended to me. thank you again!

    It depends on the context.

    Re: Correct or Incorrect?

"In the extreme example, 62 consultations were performed on 1 patient. "

To be specific, would it be correct english to use "most extreme", instead of "extreme" in the above sentence?

How about using the BBC as a credible source? BBC NEWS | Europe | Sea engulfing Alaskan village
